At St. Andrews, we do our best to provide our students with financial aid in a variety of manners. To help our students cover the cost of their education, we offer many equestrian scholarships and award them to the best applicants.
Many other colleges offer one-year scholarships, forcing students to cover the full costs for the remaining years of their education. However, scholarships from St. Andrews are renewable, awarding the student a fixed amount every year provided that they maintain the requirements of the scholarship. We want all of our students to be given a fair chance at these awards, which is why we provide information about the scholarships in every student’s financial aid packets.
We offer the following equestrian scholarships:
This scholarship is awarded to students who have equine competition experience in hunter-jumper, western, or dressage. Students must compete on one of our equestrian teams and maintain good academic standing in order to keep the award all four years.
This scholarship is meant for students with a special interest in our therapeutic horsemanship program. Applicants are required to have either volunteer hours at a Therapeutic Horsemanship Center or submit a written paper about the benefits of therapeutic horsemanship.
Helping our students succeed is our main goal at St. Andrews. To do so, we offer as many resources for financial aid as possible. In addition to our equestrian scholarships, we also offer financial awards for other programs. Speak to our financial aid office to get more information about all of the options available to you.
