St. Andrews University and campus does not need any more rain but that is a plot point within the romantic comedy, “The Rainmaker,” along with a smooth-talking con man who says he can produce rain within 24 hours for a mere $100. St. Andrews University will be hosting the return of Chinese American Artist and former faculty member Daniel Nie on Oct. 23-24 and holding several workshops for students and faculty on campus. Mr. Nie is a St. Andrews University alumnus, class of 1984, who also returned as a faculty member from 1987-1992.  He is a renowned artist living in the Washington D.C. area. Hurricane Michael Update

Dear St. Andrews University community It is hard to believe, given what we have recently endured, that another hurricane is bearing down on the Florida panhandle and will bring more rain to eastern North Carolina.
