St. Andrews University announces two new degrees

St. Andrews University, a Branch of Webber International University, has announced its intention with approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), to introduce the Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration degree and the Bachelor of Science in Sports Performance, Health and Fitness degree.  Additionally, St. Andrews has an application for licensure for both programs pending before the University of North Carolina Board of Governors which is required prior to the start date of either program. St. Andrews President Announces Retirement

St. Andrews President Paul Baldasare announced today that he plans to retire at the end of this academic year on May 31, 2020.  Baldasare is the first alumnus and the longest-serving President of St. Andrews.  He began his tenure as President in December 2006, prior to which time he served for nine years as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement.  He graduated from St. Andrews in 1977 and received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School in 1981. St. Andrews recognized staff and faculty years of service during a reception and recognition held May 11 in the Hagan Atrium and Choral Room. President Paul Baldasare greeted a packed room filled with staff and faculty who attended to honor individual achievements that ranged from 10 to 50 years of service to the university. Hurricane Dorian Information

Update: September 3rd, 2019 Based on the best information available from the National Hurricane Center, the ultimate path and intensity of Hurricane Dorian as it moves up the east coast still remains uncertain at this time.  In an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel classes on the St. Andrews campus in Laurinburg on Thursday (9/5) and Friday (9/6).  Classes on Wednesday (9/4) will be on the normal schedule through 3:00pm.  All missed classes on Thursday and Friday will be made up on two Saturdays later in the fall

Convocation begins new fall term on first day of classes; Class of 2023 is welcomed

St. Andrews, a branch of Webber International University, held their opening Convocation on Aug. 27 as a campus wide and community gathering on the first day of classes and kicked off the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year. Harris Courts was filled with new students marching in, surrounded by hundreds of returning students, faculty, staff and community members. Convocation begins new fall term on first day of classes; Class of 2022 is welcomed

In a change from the normal St. Andrews University opening Convocation, a campus wide and community gathering on the first day of classes kicked off the beginning of the 2018-2019 academic year.
