Overview St Andrews is proud to announce its new Bachelor of Science Nursing program. The Pre-licensure BSN option is 4 years in length and occurs in two stages. The first stage requires students to take 49 semester/credit hours of lower-division work (liberal arts and nursing prerequisites). Some of these lower division semester/credit hours can be taken at any regionally accredited college or university but the student is also required to take St Andrews General Education (SAGE) courses which are only offered at SAU. Rachelle Lydell, MSOT, OTR/L and SAU BSOTA Program director was pleased to announce the publication of an article in which she coauthored with faculty from University of Missouri – Columbia School of Health Professions Department of Occupational Therapy. The article describes and reinforces the concept of bagless therapy and the use of the coaching interaction style in lieu of a toy bag within an early intervention setting.
