Dear St Andrews Community,
I am writing to invite you to attend Avarie McPhillips’ Internship Presentation on Thursday, December 12th, at noon, in the Vardell Conference Room. This semester Avarie was an intern in the Public Defenders office in Laurinburg. She will talk about her experience, review a case she has been observing, and discuss the importance of the court system and the role of the Public Defenders office. If you are interested in pursuing law and would like to learn more about the internship opportunities open to you, please feel free to attend this presentation. I am excited about the door that Avarie has opened for St Andrews at the Public Defenders office and would love to see more students take advantage of internship opportunities like this one!
