Undergraduate Admissions Requirements

First-Year Freshman Students

First-year students may be admitted to St. Andrews for both Fall and Spring terms. First-year students are those entering St. Andrews from high school who have less than 12 semester college credits.

St. Andrews’ admission philosophy is simple, we look at each applicant individually as a whole because our mission is to educate the whole individual. There are no state minimum test scores or GPA, as we consider each of these indicators of past and future academic success. Additionally, the admissions office considers extracurricular activities with an emphasis on leadership, volunteerism, service and commitment as evidence of the breadth and depth of involvement and predictor of contributions as a member of our campus.

The University accepts students who are otherwise admissible without regard to age, disability, national and ethnic origin, race, religion, or sex. Prospective students are encouraged to contact the campus to discuss the university and its programs and to share their personal goals. Personal visits are encouraged. To discuss your interest in St. Andrews or to schedule a visit with the Office of Admissions, students should call 910-277-5555.
