Middle Grades Education (B.A.)

Teachers have three loves: a love of learning, a love of learners, and a love of bringing the first two loves together.

The B.A. program in Education with a specialization in Middle Grades Education is designed to help students acquire the knowledge and skills required to teach at the 6-9 grade levels. Students learn fundamental elements of teaching at the middle grades level, as well as and child and adolescent development, classroom management and curriculum development. Using a Learner-Centered teaching , the program also focuses on instruction in educational technology and digital teaching and learning.
