NAIA Spring Eligibility Rules

Student-Athletes,

Please see the information below on needing hours and GPA to be eligible for the spring.

You are considered ineligible if you did NOT meet the following requirements below.

1- Freshman who do NOT pass 9 hours, in their first semester (fall 2024)

2- If you are a sophomore or above and did not pass 24 hours in the last two most recent terms (Spring 2024 and Fall 2024) and/or

  1. If you have summer course that can get you to 24 hours from summer 2024, they need to be added to your transcript, ASAP
  2. If you are enrolled in a winter course, once those grades are posted on your transcript, I can certify you.

3- You did not meet the GPA requirement of a 2.0 for anyone who is a sophomore or above and/or

4- You do not have a total of 24 cumulative hours (required for 2nd season of competition)

5- You do not have a total of 48 cumulative hours (required for 3rd season of competition)

6- You do not have a total of 72 cumulative hours (required for 4th season of competition)

If you are below a 3.0 with an incomplete, I cannot certify you to play in the spring until that incomplete is turned into a grade.

If you were NEVER cleared by the NAIA (through playnaia) please update your profile and request that your transcript get sent into them from our registrar. If you need us to re-start your application please send me an email and we will do so.

Please note the campus is closed starting next week and the NAIA has limited hours of operations starting next week as well. This means the more things you all can get done this week, the quicker we can get you eligible.
