Dear Students,
As temperatures continue to drop, we want to remind you of some important guidelines to help you stay safe, warm, and comfortable during this chilly season.
Check Your Thermostat:
The heat is on and functioning properly in all residential buildings. Please ensure your thermostat dial is turned all the way up, and check that the switch on the side is flipped in the correct direction. If the switch is left in the default position, the system is set in "A/C mode" instead of the heat. This applies to all residential buildings excluding Pate Hall.
Layer Up:
Wear warm, layered clothing indoors and outdoors to stay insulated from the cold.
Close Windows and Doors:
Ensure all windows and doors are fully closed to prevent drafts and retain heat in your living space.
Report Issues Promptly:
If you experience any issues with your heating system, please contact your RD or RA.
Stay Informed:
Check the weather forecast regularly and plan your outdoor activities accordingly. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme cold.
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to Jeremiah Moretz at moretzaj.
Stay safe, stay warm, and take care of yourselves during this cold season.
Kindly,
