Who wants to watch some sci-fi movies this year?
To coincide with the Science Fiction course I am currently teaching, the Honors program will be hosting a science fiction film series. For the Fall semester, screenings will take place at 7 PM on the first floor of the DeTamble Library on the dates listed below. Light snacks will be provided. All students are welcome.
9/19: Gattaca (1997). What if people could genetically enhance their babies, but your parents couldn’t afford it?
10/24: Donnie Darko (2001). What if a six-foot tall rabbit said that you could prevent the end of the world, but you’re just a high school student?
11/21: Mad Max Fury Road (2015). What if the world has already ended, but you’re alive to witness the aftermath?
