I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Cross as Dean of Students. Mary has previously served as Director of Housing and Assistant Coach for Women’s Softball. As a St. Andrews alumna, Mary values the institution’s credo and commitment to the 3 C’s – character, community, and calling. As Dean of Students, she and her team will strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment to help students thrive academically and personally.
Asa “Jeremiah” Moretz is stepping up to take on the role of Director of Housing. Jeremiah has been involved with student affairs since he was an undergraduate student. He was the unsung hero who took on the responsibilities of student engagement by planning, organizing, and hosting student activities. He will take on additional responsibilities to supervise RA’s, and RD’s and to foster an environment that supports student safety, welfare, and wellbeing.
Mary and Jeremiah will add another associate to assist with student engagement and activities.
Dr. Tim Verhey will continue to provide leadership, guidance, and counsel on Title IX issues. His experience and expertise have been invaluable, ensuring our policies and procedures comply with standards.
